If you are a showing enthusiast, and haven't sent for the all important schedules yet, or have, but not done your entries, check the shows calendar, some of the first shows do have surprisingly early closing dates, and you may need to act now or be disappointed.

Do you have a report, request,  or an article for the Spring issue of Braytalk?  These need to be with Barbara no later than Friday 26th February.  Send to either her mailing address or email address, both of which are published in previous editions of Braytalk

Jay Duckworth, a former area representative in the Cheshire area, sadly passed away on Saturday 20th February, our thoughts are with those she leaves behind.

It's that time of the year again!!  Annual memberships expired on the 31st January.  Renewal notices will be sent out with the new issue of The Donkey later this month, but if you would like to beat the deadline, you can go to the 'join here' option on your left hand menu and renew using the on-line payment facility now.  If your internet provider is either  AOL or TalkTalk  make sure you access the site using Windows Internet Explorer to allow the progression to the Sagepay secure payments area.

Change to passport fees:    Donkey or Horse passports for members are now £18, foals up to the age of 6 months are now £12.
When sending in new applications or passports for transfer of ownership, please ensure that you have the envelope or package weighed and that the right rate of postage is applied.   Passports fall into the 'Large Letter' rate, 90p first class for a single document rising with each additional one.
Underpayment of stamps requires us to pay an enhanced fee before the envelope can be delivered and with even just one item per day the penalties can add up to £10 per week and £500 a year.  We regret to say that we can no longer accept responsibilty for underpaid mail, which will be returned to sender by the GPO.
