As the name implies the Education and Youth Committee has a broad remit to promote responsible donkey ownership for all, by way of education.
Actively identifying and compiling information to help us all in the care of our donkeys and encouraging the younger element in society to commit to donkeys through membership of the Donkey Breed Society, thereby learning correct management and approach as part of, or through contact with active junior groups in the regions.

The Committee are dedicated to organising training days and society awards for all members regardless of age, and have at their fingertips a series of progressive tests.
An overview of this series of Proficiency Tests designed to encourage and test donkey knowledge at various stages, can be viewed at Donkey Care and should anyone feel inclined to dip a hoof in the water trough, a test day could be arranged in your area by contacting societysecretary@donkeybreedsociety.co.uk
