Security Warning
Following notice of an incredibly upsetting situation involving the abuse of a members donkey by an as yet unknown perpetrator we would urge everyone to consider their security surrounding yards and fields.
- If possible CCTV and an Alarm may be considered.
- Install security lights
- Visits to the yard or field should be frequent and if possible at differing times in order to avoid a definite pattern.
- Consider access points and how easy it may be to slip in undetected. Block off as many as possible with locked gates. (Obviously unavoidable if your land has footpath access)
- Remain vigilant about unexpected visitors and ask your neighbours to be also.
